Well after I did the headswap the car wasnt running right. So i took it to a local mustang shop to get it checked out. They found out a cylinder 4 had no pressure, but all the other cylinders had 155psi after the compression test. So i guess 155 is good. However after they took the heads off and drained the oil they found that only 1quart of oil came out. now my question is i had no oil leakage so where did the extra oil go? They said the cams and followers were getting abit dry. They machine shop says they can repair it by sanding it down and resealing the valves. Do you all think anything might have happened and where did the oil go?

Thanks

I know I had consumption issues after installing P & P heads/cams. In my case it was the valve guides. Either that or you may have a serious ring issue in #4 that was burning oil, also. This is all speculation, but I've learned recently that guides, valve seals and rings will all obviously lead to burning oil.

When did you last check the oil? How many miles did it take to burn 4 quarts?
