When i wake up in the morrning to go to school and at night when it hasent been drivin in a while. " When the cars cold" it runs great. But when the car is warm its really slow and boggy of the line. whats wrong with my car? :nonono: also i am getting really bad gas mileage, "city" but 180 "best" come on whats that... thanks

yea i have an 01 GT w/ 22k on it and it definately doesn't pull as hard when it's fully warmed up after 5-10 mins. Not sure what's up. Only mod is bbk cai (yea i know but it's not heatsoak, the intake is still cool to the touch). i also get really ****ty mileage (could just be how I drive though!).

I haven't had it dyno'd yet so I can't really say what's up (maybe running rich). I would suggest going to get yours dyno'd and checking out the a/f and how much power you are making.

Join the club. Judging by only three reponses to your post I would say there aren't too many members in our club.

When the engine gets hot the computer pulls timing to prevent pre-detonation

this is normal and my car does that a lot

2 fixes ive seen

Cooler radiator- steeda makes a nice one for around 350 bucks ibelieve

or

Predator- Bump the timing and run 93 octane

i did the latter and it feels great now when its fully warm

Replace your fuel filter. If that doesn't help, you might have one or more cats that are getting plugged. If the cats need replacing, I believe they are covered for 7 years or 70,000 miles. (It's 7 years 130,000km, metric). The dealer would have to check your cats, for warranty.
