also warbird suggested the cams are different between the auto and the stick... that is out of character for ford... making a cam special for the auto

Brian also moonlights at Brads.
I would give Brian a try, he might not be able to help as your issue seems pretty complicated and he is trying to stay out of trouble. But he is a great tech and is very knowledgable.
