Hey, guys. I got an 03 Black GT coupe with 12,500 miles on it. poweradders are UPR Cold air- intake with fenderwell mount filter, a UPR 3.5" O/R X-Pipe, and Flow 40's. Lately when I get ready to leave, I let my car warm up, then take off. Well, if I stop somewheres and shut it off, then come back 5-45 minutes later, it will never crank up on the first try, no matter how long I hold on the key. It will start the second time though. I don't understand. Why does it do this? Should I take it to the dealer on a warranty issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. It started after I had both of my heads replaced for the ticking noise TSB. I believe there is a TSB out for this too. It should be under the misfiring TSB. I was going to wait until the Tranny TSB comes out to get both fixed at the same time. But anyways, it's almost embarassing if you ask me. It sounds like my car back fires when it doesn't start up. Let me know what you find out.

I would check everything myself first, and if I couldn't find anything than take it to the dealer.

I know there is a small thing with our cars taht if our piston's are not in the correct firing order the car will not start on the first try. Every now and then I notice this and it happens. From my understand its just the way the car is made (same with the nice clunking noise at start up) and it's not a problem...or atleast thats my understanding

Well, I took it to the dealer and had them run a diagnostics and an air/fuel ratio test. Everything checked in okay. The guy said that it may be the computer programming the start mode and it sent the wrong code. Diddo
