Ok, well when you run the car hard it runs a little hot. Not dangerous hot but tonight it got a little to hot, it wasn't in the red but was gettin close. Tomarrow I am gettin a new thermostat, and flush the coolant system. And another thing the car was runnin like crap today, I think because it was pretty humid tonight. But anyways any sugestions or help would be nice. Thanx,Wes

Huh? That's a bit confusing, and the title of the thread, "Car runshot when given hell" - I guess I don't understand what that means. Was it running hot before you ran it hard? Or is it running hot because you ran it hard?
Put the car up on ramps when you fill it with a 50/50 mix of coolant/water. This will prevent the possibility of an air pocket locking your coolant system up. With the front end up in the air, your radiator fill cap is higher than any point in the system, allowing any air bubble to escape.
