not quite sure what the problem is, maybe a motor or transmission mount, or possibly the flywheel? The car is a 1995 gt 5 speed, 373 gears. When I let out on the clutch the car will shake violently like it is going to fall apart. I have noticed that if it is cool outside it doesn't really do it. If you drive the car for a long period of time it will do it. If you rev up the engine and engage the clutch at a higher rpm it does seam to help a little bit, but not much. The best way to explain how bad it will sometimes shake is this, you know when you stall a car by letting out on the clutch to fast and not enough gas and the car stalls. Imagine repeating that in a sequence. any suggestions? Thanks for any input.

does it still do it once the clutch is out?

If not I am assuming the clutch is getting very grabby and this can be due to a bad clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, clutch cable, or even tranmission TO bearing retainer...

Just some thoughts... any of these been done recently?

once the clutch is out and the car is moving it stops. I just bought the car about a monthe ago, I don't think any of those items have been replaced recently. thanks for the help

Sounds like clutch chatter to me. Has the clutch been slipped, adjusted too tight or possibly contaminated? Since the issue goes away once the clutch is engaged (or disengaged) that is where I would look. The rest of the driveline sounds like it is imbalance free.

Good luck.
