Car sitting

My car has been sitting for over a year and I've just replaced the intake gaskets. When I tried to start it, she only turned over a second... then pauses and then turns over another second. I've hoping part of a low charge on a battery so I'm charging all nite...

Do I need to try adding some lubrication to the engine at all, other then then engine oil. Maybe some in the spark plug hole?

If it is able to keep turning over, it's probably ok. You could turn it over by hand with a breaker bar if you desired.

The battery and/or battery cables or starter might have an issue. See how it does after charging and using a jump pack if necessary.
