Okay guys, car lately will stall when coming to a stop. It'll happen once a ride normally. I'm suspecting it's the IAC because she cranks and turns right back over. It happens when I'm coming to a stop in neutral. Like the car doesn't know how to idle and it'll dip to <500 and then just die. Sounds like the IAC right? I just replaced this damn thing like 20,000 miles ago...I want to assume all the blowby gunked it up. I need to get that oil seperator in...

You guys have it easy lol. My car drives like crap :nonono: .

New injectors, new MAF, new from scratch tune from Tim...still bucks and jerks and misses at different points between 800RPM and 1600RPM. I dont know what the heck is wrong with it...its now taking a few spins to fire up. This car is killing me with its drivability issues iv been having for the past 30,000 miles. But now the car is worse than ever with the turbos.
I muffle ALOT of it by how I drive. I let my dad drive it (been driving stock shifts all his life) and :rlaugh: he stalled it quite a few times (stg 3 clutch) and it was bucking and jerking like crazy once he took off and was below 2K...felt like I was riding a darn roller coster. I was laughing pretty hard though at how bad my car really does drive  . Im guessing its a coil pack tho...its like a cyclinder stops working and the pedal is sortof dead and it doesnt want to go at low part throttle and then it catches pushes the car forward and then it will drop power again (NOT surging idle..power then quick power loss and then regains)...repeat at certain low RPMs and that causes bucking. Even smooth light throttle from say 3rd gear from 1K RPMs...gets to about 1300 and the car shutters from power loss like a cylinder didnt fire. Off the gas down hill in gear with the engine @ 2200 RPM, you can feel it sortof shuttering, sortof like a cylinder dies every other hit or so.
Sorry.. End/rant :D

Anyways, hope your car stops stalling :)

:notnice: hope it's not your DD cody!:nonono:

:rlaugh: But I only work 3-4 days per week, so its not SOOO bad. Since most of its highway, I dont encounter the problems much....mainly just as im pulling into or out of my jobs facility. Because some of their road and parking lot/garage is low speed before you can get out of there.

ambo my car was doing that yesterday, i know this probably wont concern you but idk, and i took out my air filter and it was a litttle wet. idk how, but i dried it off and put it back in and it was fine lol

alright this is not on my mustang but its basicly whats going on with my 99 Tahoe. Dont flame, I just have a small question! I dont even like the chevy! I swear!

Come to a stop (its auto) she dies, drops low rpm and just dies. I have to put it back in park and it cranks right back over and is fine till the next stop. I replaced filter, wires, plugs, cap and the blinker fluid. Could this also be a IAC problem?

Let me know

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but I'm dreading the day we see your thread saying "MY ENGINE JUST BLEW UP"...get that stuff fixed ASAP! :D

^well I turned the boost down to 8PSI (440RWHP)...so hopefully that thread will be put off a little longer :rlaugh: .

Im going to buy 1 coil pack and test out each cyclinder...if the miss goes away when I find the bad cylinder, your going to see a thread filled with    HAHAHA! If it doesnt fix it...ill compression check all the cyclinder. If everything turns out ok, ill regap the plugs to .040 or so....if I still have the miss im just going to give up and start crying  .

What if it's 2 packs that are messed up? How much are they anyways?

If you ever reach the "give up and cry" point I know of a person that'll take the turbo's off your hand :D :nice:
