Is the other side of the switch plugged into the relay on your inner fender? there is a wire that slips on a tap on it.

Thanks I will check it out!When I did my AOD to T-5 conversion, there were two plugs already there that plugged right into the neutral safety switch. The neutral safety switch was the first thing I tested after starting the car up with the 5 speed.It worked like a champ. What you might have to do is make the adjustment on the safety switch itself. You use a small screw driver and unlock the mechanism for adjustment. It has to be adjusted right, the neutral safety should only be activated when the clutch pedal is to the metal.
