hehe, just kidding...

But how hard would it be to hot wire a mustang? Just wondering how hard it is to stal a 2000 GT? Anyone?
not sure but good point for a pro prob. "gone in 60 sec." :rlaugh: i know for $50.00 here at car toys they will install a switch for a starter kill anywere you want it and it all depends on how you want to be able to use it. IE. from the cig lighter or even by using the power window before you start it. but i always say "it's insured" :D peace

Its VERY easy to start the car, heck I can even tell you the color of the wires the harder part is to unlock the steering colum, its not hard its just a bit harder. Why do have intentions of giving your vert a "little brother" :D The best solution is to have a hidden kill switch for either ignition or fuel system, what I used to do was to take off the fuel pump fuse whenever I left the car somewhere "suspicious". Thieves dont have time to check for fuses. ;)

almost imposible on a 99 up mustang!

your PATS antitheft is incripted into the PCM and the HEC module in your insrumant cluster. if a properly programed ignition key is not present you processor will not allow your car to run. you need the proper software to program and key, and 2 keys must be present. i researched this through work with a ford engineer when i was going to do my 03 cobra motor swap in my 93. any 99 up mustang is very secure from theft almost imposible short of towing vehicle. later wally

Thanks for the input, now that I am back out here in LA, my folks are having their house remodeled so I have to park the car out in the street. I live in a good area, but theft still happens. It is insured, and I would probably get it replaced if it happened. later doods..
