I bought a 1967 coupe a few months ago... The engine was out of the car, needed a new flexplate and a few other things. The owner before me was going to put a 351 in it but never got to it and had two other project mustangs. Anyways, the engine is in, all I really need to do now is get a battery and she should start right up. I have been thinking about selling the car soon because I also have a 1993 GT, which is basically all stock and I want to start adding some mods. Also, space and money is becoming a factor. I wanted to kind of get an estimate from you guys on value because I’m not sure how much to ask. The car is a 1967 coupe, luxury interior. Odometer reads a little over 69k, the owner before me bought it from a little old lady, but I'm not 100% if that is the actual mileage or if it rolled over. The paint is in pretty good shape. The previous owner had two dents in the driver’s side quarter repaired, he bought the car from the old lady with them. I was going to either get the body work redone or use a new quarter panel, because the body work isn’t the best. The guy I bought it from also took it to a road course at a show and backed into a dirt mound, the rear bumper was dented, so I replaced that and also the rear valance. Other than that, I would also replace the tail light panel, which is relatively cheap to do. As you can see in the picture, the trunk needs to be adjusted. As for the interior, it is all original, driver seat has a tear. The rear seats are torn on the top. I was and probably will be redoing the interior soon. There is no rust other than some surface rust here and there. The car also has Flowmaster exhaust and long tube headers, this car was loud. The guy who had this car before me was a friend I use to hang out with, so I know pretty much everything about this car and even drove it before he parked it and decided to pull the engine. The car also has American Racing wheels. Well, that’s pretty much everything about the car. I also attached a link to pictures. Looks pretty decent from what you've shown. Would like to see the trunk lid better. It looks primered from the one picture of it. Nothing from underneath for us to determine the condition of frame and floor pans, interior trunk pictures of drop floors at sides and inside view of 1/4 panels to see if there is any rust or repair.

The trunk lid's paint is faded a little bit, but it's not primer. I took pictures of some of those areas, just click on the link again. Picture 14 of the inside trunk, those dark spots are glue from the carpet, the only rust is at the top right, as you can see in the picture.

i would probably do a good paint job, redo the seats and leave everything else alone if you are trying to sell it. when you have the paint work done be sure to document every step very well with lot's of pictures. with the paint and seats redone i'd say it's probably an 8-10K car. the luxury interior with both consoles is pretty rare. also would be good to get a marti report as well, www.martiauto.com

What about with it not painted? I don't know how much a decent paint job would cost, plus the body work that needs to be taken care of. I will definetely be doing the interior though. I know I could ask more for it if it was up and running, but as it sits now, without evening being able to start it, what would you say is a fair price?
