This happens to me around certain rpms. I had the car checked out and its not missing at all. even had a sniffer put in my exhaust and HC produced was like zero! so i do not think it is missing. If im driving or sitting still, the car will still make the vibrations as the motor revs up. I mostly feel it at about 900-1100rpm but i belive it starts up again at another rpm but usually cannot feel it because the car is moving. Also i just had the balancer replaced like two weeks ago so i know its not that. I think the car also did have the vibration before the balancer went out on me too.

Someone suggested to me it could be motor mounts goin out on me but i dont think so

When the sniffer was used, was it in a range/time when you felt the miss?

You can do a cyinder balance test in the future to test for a miss as well.

I was unclear - does it do this while the car is stationary or only while in motion?

both, is not noticeable as much when car is moving. But i am for sure while sitting its noticeable. Hmmz iono they machine they used was a computer and they put ont thing on my wire from coilpack i belive and another on the plug wire for i belive the 1st cyclinder. the computer shows these lines witch measure the way each cyclinder is burning.....or firing

Are you sure you got the right weight balancer?

Did you replace the hb due to vibrations?

If so, did you notice things got smoother right after the upgrade?

Is this miss something that just started?

Have you made any changes, other than the hb, that you can think of that may in some way, contribute to the prob?

I had this same thing happen to me right after I did my head swap. I changed the hb at the same time. The car ran great for 2 days-no vibration. Then all the sudden after I got on it, it started virating. I had a few different people tell me it could be the flywheel/clutch. All my mounts are good. I got energy suspension motor/tranny mounts. It makes sense for my case since my clutch and flywheel are a few years old. Did you drive it crazy lately? Did it happen all of the sudden?? Mine vibrates in gear, out of gear, clutch in, cluth out, rolling or stopped. It does it in all scenarios. So, I'm gonna replace my clutch and flywheel, since I had to soon anyway and see if that helps. But for now, it's just parked. Someone told me that driving it like that could damage other things.

eh its my daily, ya i was told the clutch/flywheel thing too. but if that was true it seems like it would get worse in the higher rpms.....mine seems noticeable only at certain rpms i belive. ill hafta double check.
