Car won't go in gear??

sound like clutch issue to me.
Infact, what your discribing is EXACTLY what happened to mine back in mid september.

Turned out that my clutch shatterd in to 39 piaces...

But you said it happens sometimes.... So that rule blown clutch out...

At first sounds like a clutch issue to me.
Which tranny do you have?
My 3650 likes it rough if I try and be easy with it it grinds and does all kinds of stupid things but if I yank and slam it does fine. Go figure.
With the 3650 I've found it likes to go through all the gears Ie downshift through each when coming to a stop not go from 5th to 1st. when I go to take off it seems to prefer a 2nd to 1st shift or a 5th to reverse.
My t5's seemed to not care how they were shifted except for first starting out. to go into 1st it was reverse over to 1st or if backign up 1st to reverse.
Hope it helps let us know what you find.

I've noticed one thing with my tranny, while at a stop for more than a couple seconds, i'll be in nuetral without the clutch pushed in, and if i quickly push in the clutch and put it into 1st, i notice some some resistance. The wierd thing is, if i push the clutch in, and wait like 2 seconds, it's perfect. I'm a decently experienced stick driver and I dont ride out the clutch, i think it's just the tranny acting wierd. What do you guys think? It's an 03 GT with 29k on the clock. Thanks Kyle

thats how long it takes for the sychronizer to stop the spinning gear. Thats normal I was told. On T-45, I think first gear sychronizer is rather weak.
to me all T-45 shows something similer to some degree regardless of milege..

I think i've had more tranny/clutch problems than just about anyone....*exagerration*...About six months ago i was coming to a stop after running my car through the gears, i pressed the clutch in and heard a
loud pop and the clutch pedal went to the floor, turned out my centerforce
shattered in to about 423 pieces...then my second gear started acting funny when i put my king cobra clutch in, it would grind when i putting it in gear and would pop out if i didn't hold it there. Then after a couple of weeks of
hard driving it would grind when i put it in 2,3,4 no matter how i shifted it....well my sycro's had kicked the bucket and sometimes when i tried to put it in gear it would stick in gear or just not go in, i was like dammit! Then it just gave up on me one day when i was racing a 03' Cobra, i pulled out a
two car lengths ahead and was going to 4 and it locked up, back tires and all. I pressed my clutch in and pulled into a mexican car wash. I tell you what though, after it started sticking in gear, i poured an entire quart of fluid in it and it ran perfect for a while (three months or so) then like i said it just gave up on me....just my .02....
