CAR WON'T RUN AFTER HCI

I pulled the Hypertech chip out and the car will idle somewhat, but pops like the timing is off. I tried to start it with the Spout pulled and it won't start. I will try to set the timing again when i get a chance. I was told that Iron GT40 heads use Autoliye764's?
have you also checked to make sure none of your plug wires are crossed? i had a similar problem during one of my headswaps and it ended up being that i had the #1 and #2 plug wires backwards. symptoms were surging, stalling, popping in the intake, and absolutely no power at all. by no power, i mean that when i actually managed to get it to drive a little, it felt slower than a stock honda civic. also, when i mentioned the plugs i assumed that you had bought the gt40x aluminum heads. im not sure about the correct plugs with the gt40p's.

I just got the new chip installed and the car will finally idle.:) I took the car for about a 3 mile ride and it ran pretty good. I only have the timing at 10 for the time being. I want to install new plugs and then I will start messing with the timing. During the test drive I did notice the car ran warmer than it did before the HCI. The only thing I can figure is that the Hypertech chip turned the cooling fan on much earlier , because my fan would run almost all of the time. Now the fan doesn't come on till it hits the R on the gauge. The car would also stall when I turned the a/c on, I finally kept it at a fast idle and then turned the air on and it stayed running without any help. I appreciate everyones help and I'll keep posting on progress.:SNSign:
