I cant get my idle set correctly. After the H/C/I, I am unable to get my idle below 1700. I tried to use RIO's method of setting the idle, but the idle is just too high. I used a .010 feeler gauge to set the the throttle stop. Then set the TPS to 0.973 Volts. If I crank without the IAC plugged in, I get idle search. If I crank with the IAC plugged in, I get a rock steady 1700 RPM idle. I do not believe it to be the IAC, I have tried 3 different ones (1 new, 2 off of working cars) and I get the exact same result. I am open to suggestions. Vacuum leak or what?
If I pull the dizzy plug (as if I were setting the timing) the car will idle at 1000 steady. Maybe its something to do with the dizzy?
