So she fired up for about a second and died. Looked to see if any fuel was coming in, none. But there is fuel in the clear fuel filter before the fuel pump. There is no fuel in the fuel filter after the pump. My carb is a Holley 600 VS Model # 4160.

I took the pump off while I was painting and the lever fell out. I thought I put it back in right, but I guess not. Are there multiple ways to put that lever back in?

It ran just dandy last year until I took it off this winter.

Oh we finally solved the timing issue, we think.

The fuel pump lever's not supposed to fall out. Go buy yourself a new pump.

ahh poopy. I didnt plan on running to town today. I hope NAPA has em in stock.

Should I do something with the fuel thats in the lines before the pump? I think its just going to drain out everywhere.

I went and bought a new fuel pump from NAPA. I called at 5:50 and they closed at 6. You should have smelled those Geo's brakes burning! But anyways, it was the fuel pump that I wrecked. SHE STARTS NOW! Wow are those open headers loud or what
