carb mount studs

I know ARP and im pretty shure its the same for all studs, is to install them into the hole HAND TIGHT and then put the carb or what ever on and torque the nuts on. Usually with ARP lube if they are infact ARP.

If they are going into an aluminum intake I would put "never-seize" onto the threads. You won't need thread locking compound if you double nut the stud to drive it into the bottom of the hole with a socket wrench. It should not back out when you remove the carb for future changes. :nice:

I woud use an anti-seize for an aluminum intake. Like thehueypilot said, double nut them and drive them down in. Make them tight but not too tight, the aluminum threads on the intake will strip pretty easily.
