Well I started it up and shut it off. The fuel level was right at the bottom of the sight like its suppose to be so I will check it again tomorrow to see if it goes down at all.
Good start. Did you already adjust your idle mixture screws and find out those can specs? I'm with Mike on this one...if you're only drawing 5" vacuum at idle, there's something not right at all about that. Advancing the timing will effect the idle vacuum but only to a point, and of course too much timing can be a bad thing.
