SN95 Carb To Fuel Injection Conversion.

I'm thinking about picking up a 95 GT this weekend, but the owner has converted it to carb. I'd like to convert it back to FI, I think I would need a fuel pump, (which I have) intake manifold and injectors (which I have as well) and wiring harness. Am I missing anything?

You'll need computer, air box and filter, throttle body elbow (if you only have a fox body upper manifold). an EFI distributor for 94-95 Mustang,. The 94-95 Mustang had a remote mounted TFI, so you may need that as well. Watch out for any hack jobs done to the CCM module.

if you want to go back to a factory EFI, then the best thing to do is find a wrecked donor car that is complete to take all the parts you need.

another option would be to forget all that, and go with an aftermarket system that bolts to the carb intake, like the f.a.s.t. system or something similar. that way you dont have to invest in another intake, computer, huge wiring harness, and putting all that together. you might find it is simpler to deal with.

No. but then I don't know the condition of the rest of the car. What I do know is 90% of EFI to Carb and Carb to EFI conversions are hack jobs.

I initially was going to go with Ford EFI to convert my Mustang II to EFI, but hood clearance issues and having to cut a big hole in my firewall for the ECM connector (among other things) derailed that and I ended up going with the MSD Atomic EFI (it's not bad, FAST or Holley would have probably been better, but the simplicity and much cheaper price I was able to get on the MSD over the others swayed me in MSD's direction).

If you really want THIS car for some reason, and REALLY want to convert it back to EFI, an aftermarket TBI solution may be a better option than trying to figure out what they did during their carb conversion and reversing it.

I decided against this one and opted for a unmolested 93
