Alright- here's my conundrum. I have an '85 GT, according to the VIN, but it seems to have EEC-3, and the wiring's a whole lotta mess. The previous owner was, to put it kindly, a moron, and has botched god only knows how much, but here's where I'm at:
I'm re-installing the '97 5.0 from I believe an exploder, and am using a Summit dizzy- what can I tap for my 12v switched source?
Next up- what can I wire my electric choke on my Edelbrock 1406 to?
Last but certainly not least, it seems the black battery cable from the - side is running to the starter relay, and the red + cable is grounded to the engine- WTF? Is that even close to normal?
