Carb'd - Electric Fuel Pump

Hey guys,
I'm running a Holley Blue and it's a bit loud at times (when my wife is in the car). So since it would be better to change the pump rather than my great wife.
What other electric pumps do you recommend that might be a bit quiter.

Thanks for any replies.

how does the pump mount - is it like an oem pump in tank or inline? i have converted a mech pump to elec a time or two and find that if the pump is inline, mounting it with rubber isolators helps with noise resonance.

i have no idea if this even applies or could be used in your case, but i wanted to toss it out and bump ya. good luck.

Another thing that halps if you are using metal lines, is to use rubber covered clamps on them. Turn on the pump and get under the car and feel the lines and listen for vibrations. I am running a Holley Black, 140 gals per hour at 14 psi, with a return regulator and line. I turned the ignition on one day and when the pump came on, my buddy asked me if it bottered me. I fired up the car, then he smiled, and said he didn't hear the fuel pump any more. The motto to the story is, Dynomax Bullets cure fuel pump noise :)

Thanks 393Bird,
I'm about to redo my exhaust so maybe with a couple of changes to the way it is mounted and my new exhaust it will do the job. Exhaust is always sweet to hear. Here are a couple of pics of my ride.
