efi or carb'ed is the question??
im considering going the carburator route simply because of the tuning
my car is a DD and paying money for a chip and so on every time i tweek with something is not an option
i love the old school way of just manually tuning it all
anyways...what are some benefits of going carbed, if any, and just what is involved in the procedure????

clearly the manifold and the carburator, a new dizzee and what else would i need??
(the usual - how much would it cost all together?)

THANKS IN ADVANCE :SNSign:

I would stay EFI..its not really bad with tuning it. EFI is the way to go for daily driver, street strip, and forced induction imo.

Carb pretty much sucks unless its a full blown race car or say your car is missing the efi harness or some other wierd reason. Keep in mind you still need to tune the carb if you do mods on a carbed car..

Just a couple of thoughts for you :D

You are already setup for the pcm to control the fuel/spark under all different
driving conditions

Yes ... your hot rod parts can or will have caused the tune to become skewed
depending how radical you have gone

But ... the main thing is ................
Old School with carb ... or ... using your current setup

Either method is gonna have to be optimized ;)

I'd stick with what you now got and learn to tune it yourself :nice:

Good Luck :)
