Carbon canister

I'm trying to reduve engine camprtment cluter.Do I need/want the carbon canister hooked up? If not what do I do witht he vent tube form the tank? Leave it open, put a filter on it or cap it off?

You can delete the carbon canister from the engine compartment without any problems, Make sure your running a vented gas cap and just cap of the line to the canister where it comes out of the tank.
