With that being said, paint the hood, but use a thin enough coat that you can still see a "ghost" carbon fibre pattern under the paint
our hoods are not as heavy as you make them out to be... they are almost as heavy as the CF onesLordJish said:To be honest I'm not totally excited about the carbon fiber look. The reality is this.
1. I HATE the fake hood scoop on the late model mustangs like mine.
2. Our hoods are very heavy, plus I can get heat extractor which might actually help the engine rather than hinder the aerodynamics of the car with the fake scoop.
