Carburated '94

[Thirdstring]

I am converting a '94 5.0 to a carb & am trying to find a distributor to work without the computer. The ones I've checked out all have the shorter shaft to drive the oil pump, not the long one (.5" longer) that my '94 stock distributor has. Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

ugh....why are you doing it??....everyone ive seen try, has either given up and sold the car, or gone back to FI...

I believe the 86gt dist will work, or maybe its the 85, whatever the last year of the carbed mustang was.. Just goto autozone and look it up in the computer, it will tell you..

agreed...definitely not a good idea if the car is a daily driver...we switched to efi because it is so much more efficient and reliable for daily driving...however if the car is a weekend warrior ...carburetion sounds much better and of course has better potential...anyway whatever you decide good luck!

It's going into a '66 Stang is why. Sorry, minor detail left out! To do it again, I would go all original, but too late now.
