OK where the fuel line hooks up to the carb did they have a filter on the end of it wear the fuel ran through ?

I am not sure about the idle control rod spring. However I know that the carb for my 200ci on the Falcon does have a small inline fuel filter before the carb. That said, the spare carb I had did not have this.
