HI I was wondering anyone had a carfax account that could run a VIN for me.

1FABP40E0JF252682

I was told this was an SSP mustang, and it does have an area on the A pillar that a spotlight could have been mounted. The outside has been repainted(blue) and the hole for the spotlight filled in. Any help appreciated, thank you!

quick removal of the A pillar trim would tell if it ever had a spotlight, but not all SSP cars came with a spotlight, it was a option. Some were manufactured without them.

Look around on the radiator core support for the "buck tags". They're like dog tags for cars. If it's an SSP and if you're lucky enough that they're still on the car, that'll tell you a lot about the car. Here's some info on mine:

As for the spotlight, as mentioned above not all came with them...mine didn't. They also didn't all come with roll bars and a lot of other stuff...it all depends on what was ordered.

Thanks for the info guys, I will check the A-pillar and the radiator support. It's completely stock and supposedly only has 65,000 miles on it. I would really appreciate a carfax so I can check the car's life out. I find it strange that it would be an Idaho car, but have some cop friends who say Idaho had SSP's.

If i remember right, my Carfax didn't say anything particular about being a police car...it just showed when and where it was registered...so you might not find out anything through there.

This will tell you literally everything you need to know as long as you have the VIN and buck tags and the door sticker.

Yeah i'm pretty sure it would. I was just searching 'cause i thought i had a copy of mine but i can't find it. Mine unfortunately has an odometer discrepancy because the previous owner put a C4 in it to race it and never hooked up the speedo.
