Description: THE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY ASSEMBLED CAUSING THE SHAFT LOWER COUPLING TO LOOSEN AND ROTATE ON THE STEERING GEAR INPUT SHAFT. THIS CONDITION CAN RESULT IN A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT. DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT FOR THE CORRECT LOWER COUPLING AND REPLACE IT AS REQUIRED.

Review: There were really only three so-called pony cars; the Mustang which started it all, the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac's Firebird. By this time none of them made any sense but that didn't stop people from complaining when one or another carmaker threatened to pull the plug. So these three rolling anomalies continued, pointless in the extreme, but that's possibly why people loved them so.

Worst Features: Fuel consumption; Rear seats virtually useless; Cowl flex causes squeaks; Harsh ride; Very harsh ride (Trans Am)

If it's in good shape I'd buy it. I like the look and respond well to upgrades. Working on them isn't fun. Ask a lot of questions about the car, why he is selling it , etc. Why a gm product tho? Being this is a Ford forum.....
