("THE GIST OF IT" at the bottom <--for those that dont like to read :) )

hi, this is my first post in this forum so i'll shoot two birds with one stone & use this as a chance to introduce myself as well as ask my question.

My name is mike, and currently i'm driving an 06 CTS. I'm 19 (on the 25th of this month) and about to head to college. We currently have 3 cars, all Leased.

Due to the great cost of college, my parents have decided to take my car for my father, and simply returning his GrandCherokee when his lease ends next week. I will be left without a means of transportation to come home from school & make the occassional drive to connecticut.

I've been looking for a car with some power, reputation, style, and no operational problems, in the ballpark of $3-4 thousand, because i will be paying for this with my own earned money & thats all i can really afford to spend.

I found a nice blue 95 or 96 mustang GT, v8, 5speed, good looking body & interior from the pictures, going for $3,500. I want to know why the price is so low, and if someone here could run the VIN for me... the VIN is: 1FALP42X8TF207236

thanks, and maybe i will be getting to know you all better in the near future.

Hello Mike and welcome.

If you can narrow down the year, that will help. The two years listed use different engines and trannies (amongst other items) so knowing which you're after will really help.

I dont have a carfax account so I cannot help there.

Good luck.
