Well I suppose I could propose this idea;
Designating an admin or long time member of any kind with an unlimited car fax account who receives PMs and sends links (since we know the link can be viewed by others). Word of carfaxing would be sent through a sticky.
Money for the, what, 60 dollar account? Come from either forum members putting in money or if the forum founders were ever so kind could pay for the account.
Then if it worked out with the said test forum of mustangs (foxbodys) then for the other forums could also each have a designated admin of sorts.
Aslong as this isn't really violating any carfax terms of service.

All i see on carfax.com is " The Unlimited Plan allows you to run
unlimited reports by license plate
and 5 reports by VIN.

Like the guy (can't remember who) who made 30 dollar wiring kit for 3G alternator kits, beating out the PA performance wiring kit.
Or most recently I saw, the guy who makes air deflectors out of alumnium for 30, while they sell plastic ones online for 50.
