The 83-91 bag was dark gray. Part number E3EB-5806073-AA. I assume there's a bag for the 79-82 cars as well but don't know what that part number would be. I think Ford used the same basic sunroof in several cars in the late 70's and early 80's.
The 92-93 bag is black and has a more detailed label showing how to use it. Part number F2ZZ-6150124-AAJ That's the only difference. Same bag otherwise. The bag NPD is selling is a NOS 92-93 black version. It will work with all 79-93 sunroofs.
I have the gray bag that originally came with my '88 but picked up the black 92-93 one. Just looks better in the hatch vs the gray one in the photo I posted in post #22.
I haven't actually taken it out of it's NOS packaging though. I just leave the sunroof home when I cruise around. IIRC, mine had date stamps of 1995 on it.
