Does the that part at the back that hooks the fabric to the frame have any thing other then white on those seats otherwise Idk what they would be color matching with black carpet, did notice there site has blue carpet option too for that kit lol.

So no carpet in there kit, and no fabric to match on the seats.. I do know acme does offer just the front seat covers as a kit vs the front and rear kit rock auto lists but every dealer I checked that I know about online has it marked up to pretty much the same or more as the full kit from RA. Unless I missed it I don't see just the front seat kit listed as an option on RA.

A question about the carpet...
I have assumed the " mass backing" is the " padding" attached to the bottom of the replacement carpets... Am I confusing these two items?? Looking at the pictures ( what pictures there are) seem to me as if the mass backing is a thicker backing on the carpet, while the padding is the seperate 1/2" thick insulation glued to the bottom of the carpet..
Any help here to straighten me out here??

Agreed, I think ordering the entire kit is best....... As I go along here I am pretty sure if I replace any of the upholstery it will make the old look bad.. I noticed on the OC site they sell this " hampton white" by the yard, so I could even get the door panels covered, which aren't horrible, but they might look brown after new seat upholstery..

The padding is called jute. The mass backing is like rubber layer on the back of the carpet then the jute is glued to that.

Going to order Mass backing Essex for the 83 vert... My question is should I get Essex for the carpet pieces on the lower door panel?? I would think the thinner standard carpet would be a better option
Anyone elses thoughts here?? TY
