Carpet installation

Just got new carpet for my 93 GT, right now the interior is gutted. The carpet I bought has 40oz jute backing for insulation and sound deadening, I also have one sheet of 54" by 32" dynamat I want to add to the floor boards,
It shouldn't take a rocket scientist but where do you recommend placing the dynamat, of course I don't have enough to do the whole floor board and plus thestuff is heavy just wanting to know the key places. Thanks

Did this mod in both of my stands.....I dynamated the firewall and the floorpans.

Hope your carpet comes precut with the holes..if you were unlucky like me...I used my old carpet as a template and used a razor knife to cut it out or sharpie...I intentionally cut smaller holes for a tighter slot and to keep help keep noise and heat out.

When you dont..you gonna wanna take you shoes off and just sit inside..ha ha

haha yea my carpet didnt come precut and i had already got rid of my old carpet. It was a paint getting it perfect.

That dynamat works pretty good. Im not really sure where to tell you to put it though
