i hope you are not doing this yourself as your ring and pinion depth and runout must be checked and put back in tolerance and have a good contact patch.
take it to a reputable tranny shop to do any work on the rear gears.
if you don't know don't mess with it or you will have just wasted your money as you will ruin the rear
I agree. Not worth doing yourself unless you have access to lots of tools or knowledgable help (who have tools!). Theres a special puller for it but it often pulls the cage apart and sends bearings all over the floor. Then youll need a press to get the new ones. Hammer = no no.
