okay, a couple of days ago Im going down the highway and all of the sudden, the car jerkes and my guages go limp, and engine light comes on and I have no power going to the wheels, I cant see my rpm cause the tack is dead, I pull off the road and the engine is gurgling and about to die, I kill it and re-start it, it idles at 150-200 rpms, feels like only half the cinlinders are sparking, so i check the engine bay, seems normal, go back and try again, starts up and purrs like a kitten.... okay... so today, again, exept this time EVERTHING dies, engine, power steering, power brakes, radio, a/c, and the engine light doesnt come on but the battery light comes on, I pull off the road, turn it off, and start it back up and everthings fine. Im thinking its a short or a bad connection or someting. Anyone have this problem or have any ideas? Would be much appreciated.

I was just going to suggest checking on the chip. Make sure that sucka is seated down nice and snug.
