Cars been sitting for 3 months - will this cause me any problems?

I jusr realized that my car has been sitting for almost three months now. This is because I took everything apart to paint before the headswap, and then it ended up taking longer than I expected to get all the parts. Anyway, after the headswap is done this weekend (hopefully) is there anything I need to be aware of when starting up for the first time b/c its been sitting so long? The most its sat before without even being started is probably a couple weeks. Thanks for any suggestions.

I started my car today for the first time since November it was in the 40s.

Before starting it unhook the coil wire from the coil and crank the motor over a few times or until you can see the oil pressure come up.

Make sure to unplug the fuel pump harness instead of the coil. Not unplugging the pump will cause some cylinder wash down.

Or maybe just pull the fuse instead, it's much easier

Actually I have an oil pump primer, so that shouln't be a problem.

I just fired my car up today and drove it to the bank and a few other errands. Drove her about 12 miles today . That is the first time it's been started since before Christmas. She fired up immediately. Don't sweat the small stuff.

change the oil..depending on where your located and how high the humidity is..you may have a lot of moisture in the oil..thats not a good thing

My car hasn't been started since November, and I started it today. It took a second longer to turn over, but she ran fine. I'd let it run for five minutes to let every fluid run through the engine. If you drive it right away, it might bog down on you and not run as well.
