Ok this is in regards to this thread,
http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=416345

Car hasnt beenr unning right,
If I put my foot all the way down I sometimes get what feels like a miss and the engines holdinh back, then runs, then holds back, Just very wobbly,

I recently installed a new clutch last week, and a new TB on tuesday,
After all that the cars been messed up,

Ok,
Firstly here are the codes,

(Engine cold, Not started)
KOEO Codes first
21 ECT out of test range (What is that?)
24 ACT sensor out of test range (again whats that?)
67 Neutral drive switch open or AC on (the AC wasnt on)

Ok so now Engine Cold and started up
21 ECT out of test range
21 ACT sensor out of test range
41 HEGO sensor indicated system lean
33 EGR valve opening not detected

Ok so then I ran the car until up to operating temp and did the test again,
I dont think I had too much to worry about with those codes,

Ok Engine Hot
KOEO Codes
67 Neutral drive switch open or AC on
33 EGR valve opening not detected
96 Fuel pump secondry circuit failure (What??)

Now Engine Hot and Running
94 Thermactor air system inopreative Left side
44 Thermactor air system inopreative Right side

What the hell Is that Thermactor air system?

Then I took the battery lead off for 10 mins, Reset the computer and then the only codes I got after 10 miles of driveing for the computer to relearn everything was
KOEO
11 System Pass
Runnning Engine
94 Thermactor air system inopreative Left side
44 Thermactor air system inopreative Right side

So Whats wrong with my car :( :(
I cant figure this out.
and STILL hesitates and dosent run right ONLY at WOT,
If im calm and slow on the gas pedal, its fine, but stamp on it and theres this problem,
But them sometimes theres no problem and its full power and sounds amazing,
So can onyone PLEASE help me out,
I hate things like this,

Runnning Engine
94 Thermactor air system inopreative Left side
44 Thermactor air system inopreative Right side

Smog codes. If you removed the smog pump and stuff it will give you these it will not effect the drivability.

Now if it feels like its bogging and going are you sure the clutch is adjusted correctly? If the rpm is climbing and car is not going, The clutch may be slipping. Where does it ingauge? Near floor or way up top?
Also check you tps setting. and if I think of anything else Ill post it.

a 100 mm opening on tb .......why? That may be the problem in its self. Lazy airflow. But its just a guess. Tryn to help.

Hi Rio.....Hows the car doing?

Just sitting there with the intake torn off...just got my Fox TB swap all figured out...ran it 5 minutes and tore it down...have to swap 24s in....
Got til April when the dyno re-opens to play around...

The TPS.....set a voltmeter to 20 DCV.....probe the green and black wires coming outta the tps, use pins or something to poke thru the wiring casing......i think Green is Pos lead, Blk is ground for the meter..turn the key on, dont start....see what the voltage reads...you want close to .99 as possible with the throttle closed....if over/under, loosen the 2 screws and tweak the TPS til the volts come in to the above....tighten the screws....
recheck.....095-099 or so closed, run the throttle to wide open, your voltmeter should sweep upwards as you move it...at W.O.T. you should be close to 5.0 volts...mine reads 098 closed, 4.67 wide open...

i could be wrong on the wires...someone will chime in....if you removed the TPS, odds are its off...or your damn lucky.... :D

Ah Ha!!!

Ok,

Just did it,

The best I could get was 88 on the Multimeter,
I could get it to 99, but when I tightened it down it went back to 88 :(

So I guess I shall have to drill away a little of the TPS?

But it actually 99% cleared the problem,
Car feels better

So I obviously want the TPS at 99,
Anyonw actually had to drill theres?
Dont want to do it if theres an easier way to get it to 99

Yeah use a drill to open the holes in the tps. Im glad it helpd. Now when you set the tps its good idea to reset the eec and let it relearn. Just disconect neg cable 10-20 mins and reconect.

I had one square hole and one regular on my Fox TPS....before i even installed it i took a file and just reamed the square hole some...ream both em out ...be careful drilling, plastic....SNAP.... :bang:
