Well my car went off the road last night I think thats it untill next spring. What about your stang? What do you plan to do over winter?

I hope to:

Tune car, get it running prime.
Detail it (claybar, wax, polish, repaint inner fenders)
Get on wheel spacers, alum underdrive pulleys.
Dynamat my trunk/door pannels for my stereo.

Buy & Install: White faced gauges, hopefully oil pressure, fuel pressure, water temp as well, shocks/struts, caster camber plates, aftermarket ignition with revlimiter, larger maf.

Anyone else have plans?

Well mine will go back undercover in the end of October. Got to get my (daily driver) 89 Civic hatch new main relay for fuel pump and new front tires. Which whenever my buddy comes over with the relay next week???? We gonna put the relay on and new tires then. The following week the cobra go into the shop for poly motor and tranny mounts. This winters plans are up in the air but the juice is a definate as soon as my free NX kit gets here I'll be wishing it was summer all over again.

Plans? I've been waiting to let this out for a while now! Lately, I've been a little plagued with problems, but it should all stop by June of next year.

In November, I'm heading off to Kabul, Afghanistan, to fulfill my military duties for 6 months. While I'm gone, I'm saying goodbye to the tired out 302, replacing it with a 351 from Ford Racing (yes, I'm gonna require lots of help with the install once I get back.....I'll search threads). I'm also going to expirament with Eibach Coilovers in place of my sportlines, and repaint the car. Has anyone here ever modified the lazer red paint to make it look any different? Just wondering.

Other ideas:

GET RID OF TRIBARS! (looking at chrome 03 Cobra's)
Rear Seat Delete
A/C Delete
Cobra Front Bumper with Shinoda Lip Spoiler
Possible side exhaust (if anyone has opinions on this please post)
Very much considering a Targa Conversion, but still not sure. (again, post if you have other opinions)

Anyway, yeah, lots planned for the upcoming year. Lots of money while I'm overseas, and when I get back, 91LX_5L, we're gonna have to meet up somewhere between Nanaimo and Vic on the Malahat Good luck with the mods buddy!

My Stang will be put to sleep after the first snow, but I'll have to buy a beater first.

I'm hoping to get a new clutch and transmission since my Superman stock units have survived to almost 170,000

Im gonna be driving the stang for while yet because the dd exploder lost the transmission last week . Anyways, I've got a lot planned for this winter.

418W with AFR 225 heads, FTI cam and an undecided intake, along with everthing else that goes with it. Im replaced pretty much everthing under the hood.

Im also gonna hide all the wires I can and fill in most of the holes in the engine bay and get it repainted. I've already got the short block, but it'll be a little while before I get everything else.

For the first time ever... I have no plans. I want to do a full tubular K member setup up front, but I don't see it happening. I'm starting on my '90GT finally as I'm picking up a C4 for it this weekend. Maybe I'll get to re-ring it over winter.

My car won't be put away until November... that's when the tracks close for the year.

Going to wait until the first snow/ice and then bolt on the ugly FWD steel wheels with Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tires. I drive the Mustang all year round. The winter tires are awesome and I drive much more carefully in the slippery stuff. When the weather warms up a bit I will be installing the Y303 heads in my garage along with a Steeda #19 cam and Steeda 1.7:1 RR. I am also planning to get two '98 Cobra wheels to match the AFS Cobra Rs' that I have with BFG Comp TA DR. I will have to stick with the stock intake for a while though. Still deciding which to get and waiting to see if BBK is going to sell a specific 94-95 intake. Those are the most recent plans for now.

This is what happens in Wisconsin if you don't put your car away for the winter.

This is as close as my car ever came to being in the snow. I backed it out to take this pic, and I barely got it back in the garage. This is a few years old...

Mine is going in the garage the first time they call for snow. Gonna be driving the winter beater (95 Blazer) until everything thaws out.

Plans for the winter include:

Removing the battery and some accessories in the engine bay to clean it up. Got some corrosion still showing on plastic and metal pieces from a battery swap late last winter.

Paying off the new wheels and suspension.

Planning for my tranny swap once I get the cash for it.

Rewiring my cobra instrument cluster. Think I got some loose wires cuz the oil and battery gauges dont always read right.

Fixing my driver side window motor, which will probably just break again the first time I use it in the spring.
