i just brought my 87 gt back to bare metal and urithane to try to expose any body work and get it done the right way with a welder.the car has no glass or anything.interior and exterior.im doing a complete color change even under the carpets and egine bay .to my suprize the body work that needs to be done i knew about already cause i hit a giant rock. but anyway i fixed it i have all the pieces off the car what do i do next i know i have to prime and seal the car but what kind of primer do i use for both the the car and bumpers/side skirts?by the way i have acess to a paint booth no rattle cans for me

I would spray everything with epoxy first. Then do all your filler work on top of the filler. A good epoxy is dplf from ppg they make most colors, black, grey, white, red oxide, grey green, green, and blue. Once the bodywork is finished spray at least three coats of wet heavy primer surfacer. I use ncp 270 with a catalyst ncx275, very good for corrosion and a great filler. then sand and use epoxy for a sealer, base and clear.
