cat-back install time?

When i did my flowmaster cat-back, i just backed the car on ramps and then used a jack to life the body slightly when passing the tailpipes over the axle.

Took about 1-2 hours to do start to finish

yeah same here just installed my magnapacks took about 1-2 hours. all i did was jack the car up in the rear, unbolt my stock catback, but had to cut it behind the muffler inorder to get it off. then i just put jackstands on the jack spots on the car so i could lower the axle inorder to slide the new catback over the axle. overall it was pretty easy.

Took me about 3 hours and if you have your stock catback on it's all welded together so some brutal cutting is a head of you. Trick I used was with the rear end supported, was to unbolt the upper control arm at the axle that allowed me to get the pipes off easier. Yes you do have to get it up pretty high to work with the pipes.

You'll probably need a Sawz-all to get the old tail pipes off. If the rear is just up on jack stands, it'll take some clever maneuvering to get the new pipes in, but they will fit eventually. It's just finding the right angle to get them over the axles:nice:

A can of PB Blaster might be worth picking up to help with the old bolts and also to get the new hangers in.
