I have a question. I have two H-pipes one that came off a 99 Mustang GT and another one that came off a 2000 Saleen. There's a difference since the 99 GT has 3 cats on each side making it 6 cats in total. Now the Saleen H-pipe came with 2 Cats on each side making it 4 in total.
My question is if you were to eliminate two cats would it make a difference in sound?
I had a BBK X-pipe with the Flowmaster Force II and i was getting a really raspy sound. I didn't like it and took the X-pipe off and installed it on my saleen. I was stuck whether I wanted to add the Stock H-pipe with 6 cats or install the Stock H-pipe with 4 cats. I don't know if it makes a difference in sound so I thougt I'd ask here. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
