I actually like the bbk equal lengths, I have the ceremic coated ones. They were recently redesigned the the spark plug access is really easy, same difficult as stock exhaust manifolds. But as you said it hit the steering shaft, but it was an easy fix since I have the flaming river steering shaft so I took it to a lathe and turned it done so it would not rub.
