Thanks. I love the sound of two chambered flows also, but I just couldnt stand the drone on the freeway. That was why I bought magnaflow. I love the mags though too. They sound a little more refined & quiet than the flows in normal driving or @ idle, but when u stomp on it they sound mean. Yours will probably sound even meaner than mine since u have flows. They have the classic musclecar sound. Trust me, your gonna love it.

Ok! So I've passed my e-test with my MAC catted Prochamber. Pretty standard results for a V8, so I'm told by the e-test technician.

The sound is very good! Similar to stock, with a deeper sound in the low RPMS and a "tinny" hollow sound in the low 2000 rpms. It screams up high. I haven't added flows to it yet, but when funds allow (I'm a university student) I will add them. I've just spent money on VAL tag (sticker) replacement, $800 gas tank replacement, and I'm about to spend $1,400 in tires. Yikes! Flows = maybe next year.

Was your gas tank all rusted out? & DAMN!!! What kind of tires are u buying? My BFG KDW2's in 265/35/18 & 295/35/18 were a little over $1000. what are you getting some pirelli's or something?
Well the MRT Catted H arrived today and it looks great! Just a couple of questions. I have a universal, two 6" extensions and I'm picking up a deep 15mm socket tomorrow. I have been spraying liquid wrench on it for a couple of days now too. Am I forgetting anything?
It came with a gasket for the passenger side, is it any good or do I need one from Ford
and do you just use high temp gasket maker for the drivers side

I didnt use any gasket maker on the driver side at all. hasnt leaked at all, & ive had it on for about 6 months now. The install is pretty easy.

I had a stress crack in my gas tank. For a car with 27,000 miles on it, that is a defect from Ford in my opinion. I had to replace the whole tank. The tank was $400, and labour was $250. Add tax and you are at $741.
Also, remember that the prices I state are in Canadian funds.
So ... $1300 in tires. stock sized Goodyear Eagle GSD-3s tires (one of the top performing street tires). Tires prices in Canada are MUCH, MUCH more expensive than in the US. I can't find anyone who is able to tell me why. But yeah, that is $265 per tire x 4 tires = $1,060. Now add shipping ($30) and tax ($152) and mounting and balancing (I guess around $60?) And there you have it, $1302.00. Very very expensive for stock sized tires. When it comes to car mods, you all should be thankful you live in the US. Us Canadians and Hawaiians get SCREWED.

I have the MRT-catted H paird up with Magnapacks and love it. The mrt is the best H on the market. I had it paired up with mac flowpaths last year and it was also a nice set up. I will never get another H pipe. The person that designed the MRT H helped develop the original 69-70 mustang mach 1.

Just use the one they give you. We left the gasket on that it had originally, because the car only had 5k on it. So it was excellent shape. I dont think you need one for the drivers side, we didint put one on. By the way, it fits perfect!
