Hey everyone... its that time for me (us californians) who need to smog their cars, and my stock h-pipe that I had in my yard got stolen. I had it nice and wrapped up, so water wouldn't damage it, and without it I'm sunk when it comes to smogging the car. I'm hoping someone in the SF bay area has one that I can borrow for a few hours to run my smog check... Any help would be great!!! :SNSign:

If you have a local stang club/forum, that might be worth checking (greater probability of finding someone real close to you with an H-pipe).

Good luck.

That's what I thought... A buddy of mine has a midpipe, but it's been stored outside for about a year.. Does that mean the cats are already shot? Or how much would it take to ruin the cats?

It all depends upon how the H-pipe was stored (how much of the ends were open to rain, etc) but it might not be too promising for reliability. However, if you need this for once a year, it might be worth a shot, ya know.

I'll let the guys who store their H pipes outside give you some better feedback on that part.
Good luck.
