I have read in a couple of places that people have been having problems with caster camber plates bending when run with coil over kits.

Is this related with street suspensions or just when running high spring rates related to racing activities?

I was wanting to run about 175-200lb rate coil over springs but am not sure now if it will damage my caster camber plates.

This will be on a street car that is not intended to be a daily driver but will occasionally be driven long distance.

If these will damage my CC plates then I intend to run the regular A-arm mounted coil springs.

Thanks for any info.

Maximum Motorsports says coilovers on a Fox mustang are a bad idea, period, because the strut towers weren't designed to support the full weight of the front end of the car, which is true. You might just wanna stick with regular springs.

Cool.

So Sunday I will be looking for Coil springs and parts for complete 8.8" disc brake rear I just got. Doofus drove it with diff cover off and it froze once parked. Im guessing ring & pinion and stock Traction Lock differential at least.

Thanks for the info.!
