Last year I replaced the AC compressor in my 2000 GT. This year when it started to get hot out I fired up the A/C and had nothing. Clutch wouldn't engage and it was fully charged. After researching for a while I narrowed it down to the CCRM on the inner fender wall. Spent the cash to get a new one and it worked fine. After about 2 weeks it kicked out again. Any ideas as to why this is kicking the CCRM???

Are there ANY outstanding DTC codes? Why is this important? Because some DTC codes will disable the AC by design.

Check the CCRM grounds. Check the battery negative. Check the grounds around the radiator core support.

Measure the resistance of the CCRM black wires and black wire with white stripes back to battery negative. Should be low.

Be sure to use a good battery in the VOM and zero the meter before making the measurement. It would be a good idea to disconnect the battery positive before taking resistance readings.
