CCRM Q's

its not attached to the fan should, its attached to the braket, thats bolted to the radiator support, that sits next to the fan/fan shroud. Ask Ford why they placed it there, probably because it was convient, or easy to access, if replacement was needed..

as far as relocating it, you can relocate it to the inner fender area, to clear up some free space. If your looking for info/pics, do a search for the threads with pics.

Ok thanks. Can I bypass the fan relay in the CCRM without throwing a CEL? I was thinking of using an adj relay to kick the fan on earlier rather than just a switch.

I had mine set up on a relay before. I had it wired to come on high whenever the car started. You can bypass the fan without the ccrm.

Thats how it is setup now(previous owner). Guess I will just leave it be for the time being.
