CD Player Swap

How do I get a Head Unit out of the dash in a 98 Mustang GT. The head unit is a Pionneer deh-9600.

unscrew the center console panel (it's either 4 or 6 phillips screws)...the head-unit should slide right out with it...unplug all the cables...viola, you're done

Now take that pice of **** Pioneer head unit, sell it to some ricer for a lot more than it's worth and go get yourself a real head unit (Alpine or Kenwood Excelon).
(15 minutes max)
