How hard is it to install these, and is their any painting?

I havent installed one, but no painting is required (i think) the black part is an applique that you just put over the indent in the fatory hood.

If you buy and install this, could you post some pics of the install? I've always wanted to see the process, as I think one might look good on the Bullitt

Can you explain the "applique" to me?

The applique is the black piece thats on the hood. Look at the red stang on the right side on there site. You can see it in that pic pretty good.

Better of getting the kit that uses a real mach1 hood. sometimes those applique things dont stay down very well. And if your going to bother doing it at all might as well do it the best way the first time. Plus with the one in the link you are going to have to cut a hole in the hood.
