Just pulled the codes last night, the light only came on for a split second but comes on here and there once in a while. Code 181. I forget what exactly it was off the top of my head but something with the right bank being rich? I only saw one other post about it and I hear that it actually means i'm running lean. Things to check were the ECT and ACT, however I have replaced those last year around this time. I guess it's possible they could be out of calibration again
Sometimes at partial WOT i'll ping badly in 3rd gear, and i'll see a bunch of black smoke poor out. I guess 3rd gear is where a lot of load is on it and thats why it doesn't happen in 1st or 2nd so much? It only happens once in a blue moon though. Also only the right tail pipe leaves black soot all on the bumper around it. Think it could be bad o2 sensors? Any other insight would be great!
